What is “Status Match” and how does it work?

Status Match is a year-round program that consists of matching the member's other airline tier to Aeromexico Rewards Gold or Platinum levels.

The Member who has been selected to participate in Status Match will have a period of six months (in addition to the remaining days of the current month in which he/she is registered in the Status Match program) to complete qualifying points or qualifying segments to maintain or upgrade to the level until December 31st, 2026 and receive the Gold or Platinum level of the Aeromexico Rewards Program in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

Who is it targeted to?

The “Status Match” program is created to strengthen Aeromexico commitment with our Members, which is why in order to participate in said challenge, the Members must be invited exclusively by an Aeromexico sales executive.

What is the deadline for accruing the required Aeromexico Rewards Points and maintain Gold or Platinum Level from the Aeromexico Rewards Program?

The period for the Members to accrue the required Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points or Qualifying Flown Segments will be six months starting from the confirmation of its leveling.

What is the deadline for inscriptions to “Status Match”?

The period for the Members and the Aeromexico sales Executives to register any inscriptions will be until December 31st, 2026.

How many Aeromexico Rewards Points are needed to maintain Platinum Level?

  • 20,000 (twenty thousand) Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points.

 

How many Aeromexico Rewards Points are needed to maintain Gold Level?

  • 12,500 (twelve thousand five hundred) Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points.

Documents* needed by the member in order to participate:

  • Copy of your last account statement with your current frequent flyer program.
  • Copy of your current frequent flyer program’s membership card.
  • Aeromexico Rewards account number.

*All documents must be legible.

General conditions:

1. The Members that receive an invitation to participate in “Status Match” need to be enrolled in the Aeromexico Rewards Program. In the instance that the Members is not registered, Aeromexico sales executives will guide them through the process. For the “Status Match” will be considered as Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points (referred as Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points) or Qualifying Flown Segments, only those Aeromexico Rewards Points originated from the accrual of flown fights operated by Aeromexico or Aeroméxico Connect and those operated under the joint collaboration agreement with Delta Airlines, Inc., as well as those operated by Skyteam airlines. 2. Aeromexico Rewards Points accrued due to the use of Cobranded Credit Cards, travel services, hotels, stores, transfers, and any other origin other than purchased flight tickets operated by the airlines mentioned in point number two, will not be considered as Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points for the “Status Match”.

3. It is his/her sole and unique responsibility of the Members to enter their Aeromexico Rewards number to receive the accrual of Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points at the moment of their purchase. If by any reason the Members did not register their Aeromexico Rewards Number those Aeromexico Rewards Points will not be considered among the objectives for the “Status Match”. In case that the Members files a request for a retroactive accrual, only the Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points applied to the account before the termination for the Accrual Period will be considered for the “Status Match”.

4. The Accrual Period for earning enough Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points or Qualifying Flown Segments and achieve “Status Match” objectives will be six months starting from the confirmation of its leveling. (Referred to as the Accrual Period).

5. During the Accrual Period, the Members will have to accrue 20,000 (twenty thousand) Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points or 20 (twenty) Qualifying Flown Segments to be awarded Platinum Level.

6. During the Accrual Period, the Members will have to accrue 12,500 (twelve thousand five hundred) Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points or 13 (thirteen) Qualifying Flown Segments to be awarded Gold Level.

7. During the Accrual Period, the Members may use the benefits of the level for which he or she is participating (Gold or Platinum, as applicable). In the event that the Members accrues the requested points to comply with the "Status Match" program, the level will be awarded from the confirmation of the leveling with the objective to maintain the level until December 31, 2026, by the Members complying with the requirements established for the Gold or Platinum level.

8. The Members will be able to check the Level of the Aeromexico Rewards Program on the Aeromexico Rewards website or App with their username and password.

9. In the event that the Members participates in the "Status Match" program for the Platinum Level and accumulates 20,000 Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points or more or 20 Qualifying Flown Segments or more, he or she will be awarded the Platinum level.

10. In the event that the Members participates in the "Status Match" program for the Gold Level and accrues between 12,500 and 19,999 Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points or between 13 and 19 Qualifying Flown Segments he or she will be awarded the Gold Level.

11. In the event that the Members has met the "Status Match" program and is awarded Gold level or Platinum level, the current terms and conditions of the Loyalty Aeromexico Rewards program will apply, including the requirements to retain the level or upgrade.

12. In the event that the Members does not accrue Qualifying Aeromexico Rewards Points to obtain the Gold or Platinum Level after completing the six months of the Status Match program, his /her Level will be automatically adjusted.

13. Aeromexico reserves the right to change any of the rules, benefits, qualification requirements and terms and conditions of the "Status Match" program at any time, therefore, it will be deemed sufficient to notify the Members by email at least 5 calendar days before such modifications take effect.

14. Aeromexico reserves the right to terminate the "Status Match" program at any time, for any reason and without liability, giving written notice to The Corporate Members at least 5 calendar days prior to the date on which Aeromexico intends to terminate the "Status Match" program.

15. All notices relating to these terms and conditions shall be made in accordance with the following: - To Aeromexico: Aeromexico’s email address assigned to the Members. - To the Members: To the Members’s email provided to the Aeromexico Executive in writing. In case of any modification regarding the emails of the Aeromexico Executive and / or the Members, the other party must be given notice 10 days before the change takes effect, otherwise the notifications will be understood as made once the email has been sent.

16. Members selected to receive the invitation to participate in the "Status Match" program will be chosen at Aeromexico's sole discretion.

17. The invitation to the "Status Match" program and the Level awarded in case of meeting said challenge is personal and non-transferable, therefore, the benefits will be only applicable to the registered member to whom they were awarded.

18. The invitation to the "Status Match" program can only be granted once in the life of the program.

19. For the interpretation and compliance with these terms and conditions, Aeromexico and the Corporate Members expressly submit to the federal laws and competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction that due to their present or future domicile may correspond to them.

The Members declares under an oath of truth that: (a) he/she is of legal age; (b) has the necessary powers to be bound by this document; and (c) it is his/her desire to adhere to these terms and conditions voluntarily, without being under any physical or moral pressure that obliges him/her, so that he/she is free from error, fraud, bad faith or from anything in the consent that could nullify it.

The Members, after having read these terms and conditions and their annexes, declares his/her agreement and acceptance thereof.
